Sunday School Wisdom

21 October 2007
As I sat in Sunday School today, I was very heavily impressed by a lot of the things that were said. Here are some verses that really touched me. It is in Romans 8:35-39.

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God will love us no matter what happens to us, always remember that! He will be there for you in the hardest of times, He has been there for you in the hardest of times, and He is here right now for you. You just have to call upon His holy name and He will help you because He loves you.

Great observation. I think that is one of the main things that helps me when I'm struggling or depressed. Having my own kids has helped me have a better picture of the Lord's love for us. I love my kids so much that even if they were to choose a wrong path I would continue loving them just the same. I believe that Heavenly Father is the same way. He loves me no matter what. Maybe I'm way off base and just trying to justify things, but I think that if I'm living my life the best I can, even if it goes against some of the Church's teachings, things will work out for the best in the end.
